- YOUNG BOY DROWNED. (Per Frews Association i Whangarei, November 20. The police have received information that a six-year-old hoy named Keith Osborne was drowned at Kaimamaku, thirty, miles north of Whangarei last night. Details are meagre.

DROWNED IN WAIRARAPA LAKE. Carterton, November 20. A serious drowning accident occurred at the Lake ferry yesterday. Four men—George Dunning, Silas v Davis, John Robinson, and Morley Saxton—were crossing the Lake at the ferry, when the boat capsized, and all were precipitated into the water. Saxton swam ashore and succeeded in assisting two of bis companions to land, but Dunning was washed out to sea. The body was found tin’s morning on the Whangamoana beach. Deceased was aged about 30 years, and lias boon employed by Geo. Hume, Tanara, Lower Valley.

YOUNG WOMAN’S DEATH. Carterton, November 20. A woman named Horn died suddenly at Grey town yesterday. A clot of blond lodging in the heart caused immediate death. Deceased bad boon employed at J. Jury’s, Ponatabi.
