THE MATCH AGAINST VICTORIA CONTINUED. Melbourne, November 18. There was glorious weather and a good attendance. The wicket was perfect. Douglas and Smith continued to the howling of Macßow and Laver. Smith began smartly, driving well, but Douglas was stubbornly defensive. Smith was caught at deep mid-olf after a crisp, attractive display, lasting 36 minutes.
