SWEARING-IN CONTINUES. Yesterday morning Captain Car lale uul Sergeant-Major Ballinger visited J'oko for the purpose of carrying out swearing-in. The men were consulted about the most convenient time for parades, and it .was decided that parades would be called for 11.80 a.m., lunch being taken 12.30 p.m. to 1 p.m., drill resuming at the latter hour until 2.30 p.m. This arrangement will he followed in all the drill centres except New Plymouth, Waitara, Stratford, Inglewood, Eltham, Hawcra and Patea. Brigade Major. Whyte and Captain Lampen will carry out swearing-in at Waitara to-night and the ceremony will take place at Tariki to-morrow morning. The first parade after the oath of allegiance will take place at Inglewood on Wednesday.
