ANTI-MILITARIST LITERATURE.
CANTERBURY SHOW INCIDENT. (Pi.r Press Association.) Christchurch, November 20. Replying to H. A. Atkinson, who was ejected from the show grounds for distributing anti-militarist literature, General Gojley explains his connection with the affair. He says: “It is true \ objected to the dissemination of antimilitarist literature concurrently with military competitions. I pointed out the incongruity and illogicality of the two things taking place side by side ; but I left the matter entirely in the hands of the committee. My connection with it ended there.” ACTION BY PEACE COUNCIL AGAINST A. AND P. ASSOCIATION (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, November 20. In connection with the expulsion of anti-militarists from the Agricultural Show ground it is reported that the Peace Council is taking action against the A. and P. Association for breach of contract.
