JAPANESE TROOPS LAND. Tokio, November 19. It is officially reported that Japan has landed a party at Crifu. REBELS REPULSED. Pekin, November 19. ' 'The rebels’ attack on the Imperials near Hankow was repulsed. THE REVOLUTIONARIES TO BE COERCED. HANKOW NIGHTLY BOMBARDED. Pekin, November 18. Yuan-Shih-Kai has appointed General Tuan-Chi-Jui, Acting-Viceroy at Huna-Hupeh, with orders to suppress the- rebellion and coerce the Revolutionaries to accept a compromise, in order to permit , the' retention .of 'the dynasty. , It is reported that San was induced to land at Kiu-Kiang. The rebels made him a prisoner, and thereupon the ileet hoisted the Revolutionary flag. The Imperialists at Nanking are attacking the rebel outposts. The latter’s artillery enabled them to retain the positionyv rr» .*• -ht* '• •*» * There is heavy firing at Hankow, which is nightly bombarded. The majority of the revolted provinces prefer' Shanghai as a Repuolican capital,, as being more peaceful than other cities.
