(To the Editor “Stratford Post.”) Sir, —I note in your paper of the 15th instant a letter from Mr G. A. .Vlarchaui, which 1 crave space from you to answer, in fairness to myself, in which Mr Mareliant makes a veiled attack on me, or presumably ho meant myself. i wish to state that 1 know nothing whatever as to tho writer of tho letter .referred to, namely, “Three Votes” ; and 1 also further wish to state here that I neither canvassed for votes myself nor authorised anyone else to do so, and if Mr Marchant or anyone else can prove otherwise, I will retire in their favour.— 1 am, etc., T.
