UNION CO.'S NEW BOAT.
COMAIANDER, APPOINTED. (Per Press Association.) Dunedin, November Id. Captain I' 1 . B. Evans, of the Aorangi, has been appointed to the command of the Union Co.’s new steamer Tahiti, which is due in Sydney next week and enters the Sydney-Well ing-ton-Erisco service. Captain Evans distinguished himself in toning the Nimrod to the Antarctic when in charge of the Koonya.
