STATE INTERFERENCE
PROTEST BY FRENCH RAILWAY OWNERS. (Received 13, 9.15 a.m.) Paris, November 12. Five leading railway companies have protested against the Government's Bill providing for nomination by the State of directors and the submission of wages and rates for State approval. They declare that the Bill removes
the management from, hut leaves the responsibility with them, and. that ii the Bill is passed the companies will demand State acquisition of the lines.
