Wellington, November 9. Following are the final results of the New Zealand competitions:—. Quartette, “Sweet and Low.”—Misses Lyons and Knight and Messrs Phipps and Farrow 1, Mesdames ;A. M. and P. ‘Lewis and Messrs Chamb'li’s and Thawley 2, Mrs Offer, Migs Hill and Messrs Aspinall and Gatland 3.

Special prizes.—Most promising violinist under 21: Miss, J. M. Mathicson, winner of tho concerto, Mrs Wilkin and Miss M. Ward

Most talented pianist.—Mr Baxter Bueklov. -
