ENTOMBED MINERS.
A TIMELY RESCUE
New York, November 8
Six men were entombed by the cay-ing-in of a mine in Joplin, Missouri. They awaited rescue for five hours, the water rising by inches until they were immersed. The rescue was in the nick of time.
A prayer service was held at the mine month when they emerged.
