TWO COMPETITIONS
Two competitions under the auspices of the Firs Brigade were held on Thursday last. Following are results :
One Man Coupling, for medals presented by Mr Jas. Thompson.—Foreman Wilson, 44sec, 1; Foreman Burgess, 47sec, 2; Foreman Drake, 48sec, 3. Also started: Fireman Bonn, Gorton, Lane, and Freeman. One Mari Ladder Race, for medal presented by Mr R. Burrell.—fireman Boon, 9£sec, 1; Foreman Burgess, lOsec, 2; Fireman Gorton, Kbjsec, 3. Also started: Lieut. Rowson, loreman Wilson and Fireman Ricklehen.
