THE MAORI TROUPE.
IN STRAIGHTENED CIRCUMSTANCES. (Received 7, 8.55 a.m.) Sydney, November 7. According to advices received in Sydney, the Maori troupe in England is in desperate straits, and though they possess return tickets, the members of .it have no means of earning a livelihood till the steamer sails on November 11th. The Australian syndicate who financed the concern lias lost between nine and ten thousand pounds over the venture.
