NO DECISION REGARDING SUBSIDY. (Received 4, 9.20 a.m.) Melbourne, November 4. It is announced that the Union. Cg. .intends to extend the Wellington- San Francisco service to Sydney. ' The steamer Tahiti will inaugurate the service, sailing from Sydney on December oth. ■ The Maitai and Aorangi will also be employed. A twenty-eight-day service will be maintained. There is no definite decision respecting the Commonwealth- subsidy or the probable amount to be voted.
