A farmer named Broderick died at Goulburn from a gunshot wound, and a son has boon arrested and charged with causing his death. Broderick was drunk and assaulting his wife, when the son interposed. Broderick, in his dying depositions, stated his son fired in self-defence. (Received 3, 10.15 a.in.) Broderick threatened to shoot bis wife, when the son interposed. He chased and shot him.
