Orville Wright narrowly escaped death at North Carolina by his aeroplane overturning in-midair and falling to earth. Wright was slightly injured. The new mechanism designed 1 to keep aeroplanes on an even keel was being subjected to experiment, and Wright is-maintaining secrecy as to .the result.
