Mr. J. B. Hine, who paid a brief week-end visit to Stratford on Saturday, returned to his Parliamentary duties yesterday morning. He hopes to bo 'back in Stratford on Thursday night, and will open his campaign h.y addressing the electors in the 'Lown Hall, Stratford, on Tuesday, October 31st. , ” Within a very few days now the work of the present Parliament will have come to an end and members will be hurrying homewards to meet their constituents and prepare for the general elections. The official forecast last :weok was that the session would end on Tuesday or Wednesday, but there is a feeling that it is possible members will not be finally released until much nearer Saturday. Those who live at a distance, however, are likely in any case,to depart from Wellington in time to g ,,t homo by the beginning of next week, says the “N.Z. Times.”
