Although the Liberte Commission has not reported the fact, the authorities at Toulon were ordered to thrown into the sea seventy-one tons of B powder, valued at £21,000. Several acts of sabotage occurred aboard the warship Mirabcau, including the crippling of the mechanism for flooding the magazine.
