SPEECH BY LORD DUDLEY

London, October 21

Lord,Dudley, speaking at Worcester, said it waS dangerous for the country if tho House of Commons possessed professional politicians. There was some likelihood of this unless the electors were careful. While England might follow the energetic colonies in many things, he hoped it would never do so hi this respect. The Westminster Gazette says that if Lord Dudley had given utterance to such opinions in Australia his governorship would have boon brief.
