THE SHIPPING TROUBLE.

Dunedin, October 11
The steamer Breeze arrived from tii:' Bluff this morning. The officers informed the press representatives that, when they ascertained the officers were leaving other vessels, they felt in honour hound to leave the Breeze. After the vessel discharged at the Bluff they asked to lie paid off, hut the captain could not do so. They expected to receive instructions to leave the ship at Dunedin, !mt realising the difficulty of securing other officers, the- local agents got, permission from the Merchant Service (Judd for the officers to remain on duty until reaching Lyttelton, the vessel’s home port. The Breeze sailed at 5 p.m. for Tiinaru and Lyttelton. TimaVn, October 11, It is understood that the officers of the Putiki will, take her to Wellington and then leave again.
