It is reported in Dublin that the Home Rule Bill provides a gift of ten millions to start a new Parliament, and that the Government’s chief difficulty relates to the attendance of Irish members at .Westminster.
The Hon. Lyttelton, speaking at a Unionist demonstration at Selkirk, in discussing Homo Rule, said, so long as they had the opportunity of a full and fair debate, they should rely on argument, and not resort to the menaces of force.
