RIFLE SHOOTING.

Thirteen members of the local Rifle Club assembled on Thursday afternoon to, fire in the first tropliy shoot of, the' season, the .ranges being 200, 600, and 800 yardsj'seven Some excellent scores were made. Rifleman C. Speck made 101 off the rifle. Several hew members were on the mounds, and received the best of coaching from the best shots. Hallenstein Bros’, trophy was fired for, and the highest scores were made by Riflemen C. Speck and J. McMahon. In the fire-off Speck won. The trophy how becomes Speck’s own property, he having won it three times at intervals. The trophy has been fired for monthly during the two past seasons.
