(By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) London, October 2. A gale w ith a velocity of sixty miles is raging in the North Sea. Many wrecks and less of Hie have occurred amongst tho fishing smacks, particularly those belonging to Lowestoft.

Paris, October 2

Tho Hamburg-Amci'ican liner Konig Friedrich Auguste dragged its anchor and grounded in tho Boulogne harbour. A Flushing pilot boat was wrecked and four drowned. 'The steamer City of Benares is ashore at West Capelle. Ten wore drowned. A number of large steamers are ashore in the Scheldt.
