Nine started. Only three finished. Hautapu made the running over the hist hurdle, being beaten by three lengths, Loch Fyne 30 yards away. .Time, omin 34sec. Breeders’ Plate, of 150 sovs, for two-year-olds; live furlongs—Ventura 1, Rathkeale 2, Dromore 3. Twentyseven started. Gauntlet, with Ventura, and Rathkeale its nearest attendant, led the bunched held to the bond. Here Ventura went to the front, was never overhauled, and won by a length. Dromore was similarly beaten. Time, Imiu Btsec. Squatters’ Handicap.—Flaxen, 8.9, 1; Safrano, 8.7, 2; Flamen, 7.0. 3. Seventeen started, including Genius. Won by six lengths. Time, 2min 7.’, sec.
