• Mr. J. H. Blackwell received a requisition on Saturday to contest the Kaiapoi seat. He gives ins answer this week. It is understood that I iff; request came originally from a Prohibitionist, who is not satisfied with Mr. Bnddo’s attitude regarding the hare majority.
