Ottawa, September 26. Mr. Lcinion.x’ was defeated for the Gaspo constituency. The only Ministers returned are*Messrs. Oliver and Pugsloy, and Sir Wilfrid Laurier. The result is unprecedented. Mr. Bourassa, Nationalist Loacleir, states that the party will maintain an attitude of complete independence. Ho emphasises loyalty to Oho -British Crown, but asserts the necessity of Canadian autonomy for the protection of minorities.
