Under the WagesBoard award after the last strike for the past six . months the selling, pi ice of coal has’been Ss 8d instead of, 9s 2d. This involves a proportional reduction in the hewing rate, to which the miners are strongly averse. A special meeting of the delegate board has been called. There is reason to believe that tne hoard will vote against the reduction.
