“OUR MISS GIBBS.”

TO-NIGHT,

To-night at a quarter to eight will seh the initial performance here of the much anticipated and famous musical play “Our Miss Gibbs.” We are to expect “Our Miss Gibbs’ - exactly as done in Australia. Mr. J. G. Williamson has been successful in renewing the engagement of Miss Blanche Browne, consequently this exceptionally clever comedienne will be seen here in her tine creation of “Mary Giobs.” Trio Royql Gomic Opera Company, always a. favourite organisation, will be further strengthened by tne valued inclusion of Mr. Leslie Holland, an English Actor of reputation, and Mr. Bertie Wright, a comedian from the Gaiety Theatre, -London, both of whom will make their first appearances here in “Our Miss:, Gibbs.” Other artists who will be favourably remembered are ML- Andrew liigginson, Mr. ■ Fred Leslie, Mr. C. R. Lantech, Mr. Frank Stirling, Mr.' lan Maxwell, and air. Colin Campbell. Amongst the iadie§, prominently in the cast, are Miss i\ ellie Wilson, Miss Nellie Calvin, Miss Fitzmaurice Gill Miss Ivy Schilling, and Miss Connie Milne. The play is spoken of as possessing more dash, sparkle and go than qny other musical comedy of recent ■ years. The music, which is by, Ivan Cary 11 and Lionel Monckton, is said to be of a particularly bright and catchy nature. In the matter of costuming it would appear that J. C.
