THE LIQUOR TRAFFIC.
NO-LICENSE IN MAINE (Per Press Association.) Auckland, September 21. The following cable was received by the Auckland Provincial Council and Trade Organisation to-day:—“Maine, —Tno official result is in favour of the repeal of Prohibition by 26 votes.” The No-License organisation states that this refers to the question of the removal of Prohibition from the Constitution, and that the question of granting licenses has yet to bo decided by the people. 1 •}
