EVIDENCE FINISHED. (Per Press Association.) • Wellington, September 21. The Mohan inquiry was resumed. Thomas William Fisher, Undcr-Scc-rctary for Native Affairs, made a statement relating to the application for and issuing of an Order-in-Conn-cil. Witness suggested that Mr Bowler’s services as trustee should be remunerated, but that the remuneration is paid into the public account and not to Mi- Bowler. In witness’ opinion the block when roaded .nd settled will not be worth more than £70,000. There will be no more witnesses, though possibly Mr .Tones will be granted permission to make a statement to-morrow.
