ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.

(Per Press Association.) Christchurch, September 17. George Ruddock, about seventy years of age, was found dead in his garden at Sefton last night. He bad been dead about a week. There were no marks of violence on him. An inquest was held this afternoon into the circumstances connected with the death of William Robert Bright, 34 years of age, who died suddenly last night. Dr. Fenwick said he had made a post-fnortem examination, and that death was duo to sudden failure of a very diseased heart. There - were evidences of syrosis. The Coroner returned a verdict that deceased died from heart disease. Levin, Scptemoer IS. At the inquest on Sat ail Gyles a verdict of accidental death was returned. She had been in a precarious state of health for some time past and tho shock of being thrown from the trap caused her death. Tho motor car mentioned in connection with tho case was proved to have been driven slowly when it passed the trap. The horse was frightened and the driver pulled it almost at right angles across the road, which action precipitated both occupants from tho vdhiele.
