The Government. Meteorologist telegraphed this afternoon :— Southerly moderate to strong wind, hacking, and winds freshening westerly strong winds to gale; expect unsettled and cloudy weather; rain proha,hie; glass little* movement, but fall after ten hours; a storm area appears to be approaching from westward.
