(Per Press Aasoemtion ) Wellington, September 15. William and Maud Rogers, suspected of robbing a jewellery store hi Auckland, wore expected to retun under, police escort in ' the Aorangi y cstci day, but they did not. On June 3rd, Detective Scott went to San Francisco to bring them back, and after some delay secured an ordei for extradition. Since then, Rogers seems to have taken advantage of the American criminal laws to prolong the formalities. No communication regarding the case was received by the Commissioner of Police yesterday, and San Francisco newspapers make no reference to the proceedings.
