In the event of making a dash for the Pole, they could stay in the air five hours and travel three hundred miles there and back in that time. The aeroplane carries one passenger.

Archbishop Clarke has officially announced that the conference of the Anglican, Presbyterian, Methodist and Congregational Churches had arrived at a general agreement on the subject of doctrine, which points to the possibility of union as far as that was concerned.
