Lamed, the American champion, defeated Dixon, of England, G—3, 2—6, 6—3, 2—6, 7—o. McLoughlin, of California, heat Lowe, of England, 7—o, G—l, 4—6, I —6, 6—3. Tho victories give the Americans two points.
