Wanganui, September 8. The golf championships wore continued to-day in lino weather. The morning was occupied with the semifinals in the professional championship. Clements beat Watt, 2 up and 1 to play; McEwan (who went round in 75), beat F. Hood, after a very line game, 2 up and 1 to play. In the amateur championship Burns beat Lusk, sup and 4to play; Kurcpo Tarcha beat Kidstone, 4 up and 2 to play; A. Duncan beat Kapi Tareha, 5 up and 4 to play; Duncan went round in 74, equal to the record for the course, Kapi completing in 77. Other amateur games remain to lie finished.
