Time, smin 20sec. Tutaenui Welter.—Sandy Paul 1, Epsom Lass 2, Zoraicla 3. Won by a head. Time, Imin 45sec. SECOND DAY. Marton Junction, September 7. The weather is fine, and there is a large attendance. Results : Hunters’ Hurdles.—Himitangi 1, Sylvia Maid 2, Montague 3. Scratched: Maid Marion. Won by two lengths. Ranter, Jackman, and Comerashan fell. Time, 2min 55 l-ssec. Camerashan broke his nock. Telegraph Handicap.—Morecambe 1, Tekahurangi 2, Master Sylvia 3. Scratched: Projectile. Won by a length. Time, Imin 15sec. Flying Handicap.—-Labour Day 1, Birkline 2, Patriotic 3. All started. Won by a length. Time, Imin 15 2-5 sec.
