CYCLING.
(Per Press Association ) Christchurch, September 7. _ One hundred and seven started in the road race to Timaru, which for the first time begins at Christchurch. The limit men were sent away promptly at 8 o’clock. The roads are reported to bo in good order, only a few patches having a loose surface.
