• AUCKLAND SESSIONS. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, September 6. The hearing of the charge of murder preferred agaric ]oS«hE** mS‘ O’Shaughnossy in connection with the death of Miss Elsie Alexandra Holland at the residence of the accused in Kingsland on or about June 13 last was continued at the Auckland Supreme Coux-t to-day. The case for the prosecution had net concluded, when the Court rose. >:*(>■■> ~ TIMARU SESSIONS. Timaru, September 6. j, At the Supreme Court the Clanson thefts ease, in which the jury disagreed yesterday, was postponed till next - session. In .the Ashburton carnal knowledge case a verdict of guilty was returned,, and eontonco w. s deferred. A Timaru man was charged .with an unnatural chance, and was acquitted “without a stain on his character.” ’ The .informant,, a boy of thirteen,. is a degenerate, and had been under hospital treatment.
