SUPREME COURT.

PALMERSTON SITTINGS. (Per Press Association.) Palmerston North, Sept. 1. At the Supreme Court to-day, before Sir Robert Stout, the Wellington College Board proceeded against Goo. Allman and Ada Louisa Allman for tho suin' of £565 for removing buildings off plaintiffs’ land. Tho defendants had a lease of a section of 4if acres, and built a house, outbuildings, etc. When the lease expired they took the buildings to another section, is they could not secure .a renewal at a reduced rent. The case was hoard before a jury of four, and a verdict was given for £4OO. William Candy sued John Williams Bachelor for specific performance regarding an exchange of farms. His Honour reserved judgment.
