STREET OBSTRUCTION.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, September 1. Adjutant Gunn (of tne Salvation Army) and Robert Hogg and James Eagle (of the Soeia.list party), were each fined ss, with 7s costs, in the Magistrate’s Court, for remaining on a certain place when ordered to move on by the police. The prosecutions were the outcome of recent street scenes at an anti-militarist meeting. All the defendants expressed regret, and the Magistrate indicted nominal lines under the circumstances,-but emphasised the fact that the police must be obeyed.
