FOOD RIOTS IN FRANCE.
(Received 1, 9.45 a.m.) Paris, August 31. There have been dear food riots at Bethune, Valenciennes and Douai. Five hundred women at Lens expelled dairymen from tho market and compelled them to reduce the price of butter.
