STRATFORD-ONGARUE RAILWAY.
WORKMEN ON STRIKE. News conics from Whangamomona that 150 men on tho Stratford-Onga-iue railway works have gone out on strike, insufficient pay being the cause. Work on tho Whangamomona tunnel is held up, and it is feared the action of the men will affect pthoi workers on the line. Particulars so far arc meagre.
