NORTH TARANAKI HUNT CLUB: The annual race meeting under the auspices of the North 'Taranaki Hunt Cluo was held at New Plymouth yesterday. Falls were fairly frequent, but there were no serious accidents. The events were got off without a hitch, all the officials working hard. The various races resulted: — Members' Handicap Flat Race.— Otaoroa 1, Rua 2, Drudgery 3. Licensed Victuallers' Handicap.— Barney 1, Kura 2, Redwing 3. Open Mack Handicap.— 'i o WJiaroroa 1, Monsieur Sours 2, Otaora 3. Ladies’ Bracelet.—Drudgery 1, Bachelor’s Button 2. Novice Steeplechase Handicap.— Rawa 1, Pompey 2, Inglewood 3. • Hunt Steeplechase Handicap.— Star Lass 1, Rua 2, Barney 3. Hunters’ Handicap Hurdles.—Star Rose 1, Otaoroa 2, Kaianganui 3.
