CANADIAN NAVAL POLICY

In consequence of the more generous scale of pay allowed in the Canadian navy than in the Imperial service, extra pay in the Canadian navy has been ordered to be disallowed. YLE WORLD’S WHEAT SUPPLY. Mr Dornbusch estimates the world’s wheat crop at 460,313,000 quarters, Europe and the United States showing declines of 8,000,000 and 5,000,000 quarters respectively, Canada, Argentine and India increases of 4,250,000,. 5,500,000 and 1,500,000 quarters respectively. The incorporated meat importers are unable to give reliable quotations owing to the strike.
