THE PRODUCE MARKET. London, August 16. Business has partly resumed in Tooley street. Butter is very firm. Australian nominally advanced two to four shillings. We offered on account of Messrs Hann Bros, a very nice line of 3-y earoil heifers, which met with very keen competition and realised from 130 s to 182 s, making an average of 1635. TJicso wore Shorthorn cross heifers, and wo consider thorn the best heifers of their elass yet offered in Stratford tin's season. Wo also offered on account of Mrs Dromhroski, Norfolk Road, a herd of 17 dairy cows, most of which were somewhat aged, and realised from 60s to 120 s. Early calvers of this herd realised from 140 s to 185 s.
During the week wc sold a considerable number of hoggets at from 10s Gd to 11s, and there appears to he a better demand for both wethers and hoggets at present.
