CHANGES AND TRANSFERS. (Per Press Association.) Dunedin, August 10. In connection with changes in the Union Steam Ship Company referred to in a cablegram from Sydney, it is officially announced that Mr F. 'W. Jackson, who lias been manager for the Company at Sydney for many years, has been granted a year’s leave of absence, and Mr Mills, manager at Melbourne, will take his place. Tho following transfers will take place: Mr Val. Johnson, manager in Tasmania, to acting-manager at Melbourne ; Mr E. A. Eva, Stratum, to acting-manager at Hobart; Mr F. Crash, chief clerk at Launceston, to Strahan.
