QUESTION ASKED BY MR. HINE. (Special to “Post.”) Wellington, August 11. The Minister of Public Works was asked by Mr. Hrno to-day whether, in view of t'no higli cost of living in the back-blocks, he will either increase the schedule rates of roads and railway works in these districts, or supply the necessaries of life at cost price to the workers.
