MILITARY TRAINING.
APPEAL TO MR. KEIR HARDIE
London, August 10
Mr. Kier Hardie has published a cablegram from the Anti-Militarists’ Council at Christchurch to the effect that Now Zealand youths are conscientiously refusing military training, and asking Mr. Hardie to warn the British democracy that their sons coming to Near Zealand will he enslaved. REGISTRATIONS. (Per Press Association.! Wellington, August 11. The Territorials registered to August sth number 28,325, and the senior cadets 30,101, besides which there are 2832 Territorials over 21 years of ago ■■'ko desire to continue to servo. A few registrations arc still being, made.
