o FOGAVELL v. BARRY. (Received 10, 8.50 a.m.) London, August 9. “Sporting Life” states that there is much comment about the fact that Fogwell’s second deposit in connection with ids challenge of Barry (duo on August 3rd) has not yet been made. Both continue training, and it is believed the hitch with shortly ho smoothed over.

The “Sportsman” explains that Seifert, Fogwell’s principal backer, is in India, and is not due in London until tho 27th.
