The slow progress in the negotiations is causing impatience in Paris and Berlin, where the prospects of protracted discussions inspires apprehension. The Paris ‘Temps' 1 ur'ges the Government to propose a European conference on Morocco, ns it is well known that Germany desires to abolish the Algeciras. > (Received 3, 10.0 a.m.) Paris, August 2. “Echo do Paris” states that Herr von Kiderlin-Wachter has asked M. Gambon to cede Tahiti, in the Pacific, to Germany. 3 EXPELLED. (Received 3, lu.O a.m.) London, August 2. The ruler of Agadir has expelled Alan Ostler, correspondent of the “Daily Express,” and Francis McCullagh.
